Daisybank Cottage is a charming and quirky cottage tucked away down a little lane away from any noise whilst backing onto beautiful views of the Perthshire countryside.
A warm cosy cottage with open plan living area with the lounge looking out across the views and garden. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a dining table perfect for enjoying evening meals. The two bedrooms are light and airy, one with a double bed and the other two singles that can be joined together to create a double. There is also a modern shower room. Outside there is a lovely patio area leading down to the garden below perfect for sitting out and relaxing in on the long summer evenings. This property is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to the few steps leading to the house and down to the garden.
The historic market town of Crieff is just four minutes’ drive away where you will find a fantastic selection of local shops, coffee shops and tea rooms along with bars and restaurants. If you are feeling energetic then a trip to the Crieff Hydro is a must where there is a whole selection of activities on offer from alpaca trekking to Rifle shooting and treetop adventures to mention a few. Crieff is a popular town not only for its history of cattle droving but now famous for whisky and Glenturret Distillery. A visit to the Caithness Glass Visitor Centre as well is highly recommended.
Drive another twenty minutes, you will be able to enjoy day trips to the magnificent Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, or visit the attractive small villages in the area. Still within easy driving distance, day trips can be enjoyed at Stirling which offers retail therapy as well as visitor attractions including Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Perth, on the banks of the River Tay, offers a theatre and a historic city centre with shopping and places to eat.
