Dassett View, part of the owners’ residential property, Bayards, was built of the local Horton stone. Dating back to mid-1600s as a cattle shed, it was converted to a residential accommodation in the 1970s and has recently been refurbished by the current owners. It is a listed building and sits on the edge on the village conservation area. This self-catering accommodation comprises a dedicated access to a well fitted kitchen incorporating everything you. Up the oak staircase brings you into the combined bedroom, sitting room and dining area which has been well designed with the guests comfort in mind. The fabulous bathroom offers ambient lighting so you can relax and unwind in the free standing bathtub after a day’s sightseeing. Views from the living area look across a horse paddock towards Burton Dassett hills.
The village of Fenny Compton, which is just a few miles north of the market town of Banbury, enjoys a friendly pub serving good food and a local shop for all your essentials. More comprehensive local amenities can be found in the local market towns of Banbury or Southam.
