Derwent View is a bungalow to sleep up to six guests, there is a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge, plus a small breakfast bar area with two stools, doors open to a dining room which sits centrally within the house with dining table to seat up to six guests. There are double doors into the living room which really has the wow factor view over the rolling hills of the Peaks with floor to ceiling windows so this view can really be enjoyed, there is comfortable seating, an electric wood burner and TV. This property has three bedrooms, two of which are doubles with en-suite shower rooms, and the third is a twin, there is also a family bathroom that has a bath and shower attachment. Derwent View has gardens to the front and back of the property, they are well manicured with outdoor furniture. There is parking for one car on the driveway, or two if you wish to block one another in, plus roadside parking.
Hope Valley is a walker’s dream, there is Mam Tor to Lose Hill loop from Castle, Win Hill as well as the Great Ridge, all worth checking out. Castleton is on your doorstep where you can explore the Caverns inside and out, as well as the beautiful village itself which has local shops and pubs. Bamford Village itself where Derwent View is located has a small number of local shops as well as pubs so you can enjoy a stroll to the local for some home cooked food after a busy day exploring. Pub within ½ mile.
