The Llanelli Wetland Centre is a must see, here you can hand feed the rarest Goose in the world, go bug hunting, see flamingos and enjoy bird watching from hides. The ancient town of Kidwelly is only a 5 minute drive away and is really worth a visit with plenty of shops and restaurants, and one of the finest preserved Norman Castles in Wales. Pembrey Country Park is around 10 minutes away and is fantastic for busy families and walker’s alike, complete with 500 acres of woodland, dry ski slope, toboggan run and the picture postcard Cefn Sidan Sands covering 8 miles of golden beach waiting to be discovered. Beach 8 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
