Conveniently close to the shore side, offering a waterside escape for guests who want to enjoy the stunning scenery and the peace of outdoors.

Dundonald Landing Palm 2 has been thoughtfully designed by the owner to offer luxury and comfort with flashes of brilliance! There are two spacious, comfortable bedrooms, one king-size, one twin – both with televisions and with en-suite walk-in shower rooms. Stable doors lead to the rear of the lodge and the private Hot-tub. Fitted out to provide more than the comforts of home, there’s a spacious open plan living space complete with gas-fired wood-burning effect stove, a cosy rotating snuggle sofa, LED mood lighting, a glitzy bar area for after dinner cocktails, large smart TV and to top it all, glazed doors which open up the whole front of the lodge onto a decked area with outside furniture and barbecue. A private jetty opening onto Loch Etive is available for your use - ideal to fish from, enjoy wild swimming and to keep a kayak or small boat close-by to enjoy the best of the waterside location.

The narrow single-track access road leads along the north shore of Loch Etive and is ideal for cycling and walking along the shoreline. There are beautiful gardens to visit along this road at Ardchattan Priory. The lodge is a leisurely and scenic hour’s walk to the villages of Benderloch, Connel and North Connel where you will find licensed general stores, cafés and pubs to rest and relax in. You are also within easy reach of the Oban to Fort William cycle path - a wonderful scenic route almost entirely traffic free using parts of the old railway line, forest paths and along the roadside - a fantastic opportunity for safe cycling. The nearest village of North Connel, offers a loch-side hotel with restaurant, perfect for an evening stroll. You’re also only a five-minute drive from Connel, famous for the tidal race underneath the Connel Bridge, the Falls of Lora, an amazing natural attraction. Connel has a licensed store, post office, pub and hotel.

Close-by is Dunstaffnage Castle and the Ocean Explorer Centre in the village of Dunbeg which also has a very popular Garden Centre with café. The village of Benderloch is easily accessible across the “Moss Road”, forming part of the Lynn of Lorn National Scenic Area and is home of the lovely sandy Tralee beach with cafés & shops and Ben Lora woodland walks. Oban, a bustling west coast harbour town is just seven miles away and has lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year. Known as the “Gateway to the Isles”, it’s ideal for visiting the many islands close-by, such as Mull, Iona, Staffa, Lismore.

In keeping with its reputation as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, there are some excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby serving locally caught seafood, in which to relax after a pleasant day out exploring the wonderful scenery and visiting some of the interesting attractions which Argyll has to offer. Within 1 hour’s drive of North Connel, you can visit Inveraray, with its Castle and Jail, Fort William to see Ben Nevis or the scenery of Glencoe.
