The first-floor apartment was originally part of the stables and staff quarters of the historic Dunira Estate. Renovated in 2021 to provide excellent quality spacious holiday accommodation for a couple, and the perfect place to enjoy a romantic break. Quality and comfort are the bywords for the open plan living area with comfortable seating and a wood burner is bliss on a cold winter’s evening and just the spot in which to relax.
There is a beautiful kitchen area with integrated appliances and a dining table. You have a separate reading room for some quiet time, and a bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom making it just the place for a relaxing bubble bath after a day exploring. There is also a further shower room. You have a private terrace at the entrance with seating to enjoy the views and relax with a glass of wine. The private garden is on the ground level, grassed and ample seating to enjoy morning and evening views.
The Estate offers miles of quiet footpaths and cycle tracks to explore, and there are opportunities for many other outdoor activities in the area including climbing, hill walking, fishing and water sports on Loch Earn. For nature-lovers, the estate and area are a haven for wildlife. Look out for otters, pine martens and stoats, deer can be seen in the wood and field, and wild birds include, siskins, nuthatches, house martins, woodpeckers, buzzards and red kites. The Granary can be booked together with Stable Cottage (UK34898) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
