Eagle Landing is a fantastic, architecturally designed new build holiday home on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands. Set within its own large, enclosed garden in a clearing of forest close to Mount Eagle, it’s a peaceful spot with sheep and horses roaming the nearby pastures and deer emerging from the trees in the twilight hours. Views from just up the hill from Eagle Landing are awe-inspiring. The house sits on its patch surrounded by forest plantations with the Munro Ben Wyvis as a backdrop. It’s an amazing spot.
The house itself is possibly even more amazing than the location. Beautifully designed and thoughtfully finished, all who book and stay at Eagle Landing will love the place. As soon as you see the house, with its white washed walls and Siberian larch porch, you know you’ve made an excellent choice for your break. Entering the property confirms your choice, it’s a fantastic holiday home. The porch has a good space for coats and boots, and there is a well-placed utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. From the entrance hallway you enter into the main hub of the house, the living/dining/kitchen area which is double-aspect and has a vaulted ceiling amplified by the wood burner’s towering flue. The kitchen is a great space and has everything you’ll want and need to rustle up hearty meals for family or friends, and it enjoys a well-positioned breakfast bar. The dining space has a hidden gem created by the owner, the table craftily and tastefully doubles as a pool table. The living area has bi-fold doors on two walls, so on warm evenings it’s a joy to let the air pass through the house. When colder, the living space enjoys the warmth of the wood burner that takes centre stage. On the rest of the ground floor you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms, a large double and a twin. On the first floor there is an en-suite master double bedroom and a mezzanine snug with Smart TV that overlooks the living/dining/kitchen area.
The location near Mount Eagle in the heart of the Black Isle is perfect for those wanting a rural escape that isn’t too far from lots of interesting places. You have wonderful Fortrose and Rosemarkie and Cromarty not far away on the Black Isle. Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
