Delight in uninterrupted views of St Bride’s Bay and Ramsey Island from all rooms in this beautifully renovated barn conversion. A classic Pembrokeshire barn, The Dairy at East Hook is just a stone’s throw from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and a short walk from the lovely beach of Marloes Sands. Look out across St Bride’s Bay from the comfort of the vaulted conservatory and watch the ships at anchor or wonder at the starry canopy of the night sky. The Dairy at East Hook is smartly furnished with comfort and practicality in mind. The bedrooms, reached by two separate staircases, are simple and decorated in calm seaside colours; the living room warm and comfortable, ranged around the wood burner.
There is room to relax outside the conservatory’s double doors lead onto the semi-circular western terrace. The patio features a round picnic table with benches attached, seating 8, great for al-fresco dining. Walk down through a wildflower meadow to the coastal path below.
Just over a mile from this comfortable cottage is Marloes Village which boasts a local pub serving good pub food. Just half a mile away beyond the National Trust car park at Marloes Sands, you’ll find Runwayskiln - a wonderful rustic cafe serving excellent coffee, pastries, and delicious lunches either in the cafe itself of from their outside kiosk. There is a range of lovely beaches around the Marloes and Dale peninsulas, many of which welcome dogs all through the year. Musselwick, Marloes and West Dale Bay are all close by, visit these and the long sandy beaches in St Brides Bay, Broad Haven, Druidston Haven and Newgale, this is the perfect place for a beach holiday.
The Dairy at East Hook can be booked together with The Stable at East Hook (QC1272), The Barn at East Hook (QC1305) and East Hook Farmhouse (QC1602) to accommodate up to 26 guests.
Please note: There are open, steep stairs at the property
