Upstairs, you’ll find a double bedroom with plenty of storage and hanging space as well as a second double bedroom. The third bedroom features a bunk bed with a double below and a single on top, offering flexibility for families and couples. Travel cot and highchair are available too. Downstairs features a spacious, open plan living/dining room with smart TV, plenty of easy seating and dining space as well as a very well-equipped kitchen with large range style cooker with double oven, multi-ring gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. The bathroom offers a corner bath, handheld shower attachment and over bath shower too.
Eliza’s Cottage Low Padstow is located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, in Cleator Moor. A lane runs up the side of the property round to the rear of the house. It is shared access with neighbours but guests could sit out at the back if they choose to do so on the grassed area. Within a mile you have convenience stores, local pubs and shops. Within two miles, you have Whitehaven Golf Club and the major town of Whitehaven just 3 miles away with major supermarkets, a lovely harbour with a selection of restaurants, bars and fantastic cliffside walks, perfect for exercising your dogs. A short drive to the Lake District National Park brings an abundance of walks, cycle routes, wildlife, mountains and lakes. Your nearest lake is Ennerdale Water which is 5 miles away. Ennerdale is regarded as one of the most unspoilt areas of the Lake District and is full of wildlife including red squirrels, osprey and buzzards. If that’s not enough, Loweswater is just 10 miles away which leads to Crummock Water and then Buttermere. This scenic loop is a beautiful drive with stunning scenery all the way via the Honister Pass to Keswick. The scenery around this unspoilt part of The Lakes is stunning, and the beauty, colours and unforgettable panoramic views are a sight to behold.
