External kitchenette with camping gas stove and wooden floor, sink and cool box. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture, barbecue and firepit. Private parking for 2 cars. Elsie’s Hut is a traditional style, bespoke Plankbridge shepherd’s hut, made to a very good standard with a very contemporary feel. It is warm and cosy with its solid English oak floor, Farrow Ball painted interior and Hobbit log wood burner. The hut has a spacious shower room with toilet, Belfast sink and storage cupboards, double window and stable door. It is lit by solar power and has two 12V charging points for mobile phone or iPad and Wi-Fi. Outside there is an undercover cooking area with sink, camping stove, barbecue and fire pit and a private garden area with table and chairs for outside dining. All cooking and dining equipment is provided. Sit up on the comfy double bed or stand by the stable door to see views across the fields or watch the sunset. Enjoy the magic of stargazing with a dark sky.

A great glamping experience in a rural setting just outside the South Downs National Park. Plenty of walks from the doorstop including places to dine out. Brighton and the sea are a 20-minute scenic drive over Devil’s Dyke on the Downs. Beach 8½ miles. Shop 2¼ miles, pub 1 mile, bar/restaurant 700 yards.
