On the inside, Erin Lodge is bright, cheery and exudes fun. The whole property has been fitted out with homewares and furniture from the local owners shop. There are colours aplenty and quirky products around every corner. You will constantly be finding something new and bursting into a grin. Externally Erin Lodge is an early 19th-century grade II listed property with a Doric porch, beautiful cornices, and an imposing presence commanding impressive views from Flushing to the docks. This property is the first-floor apartment as the ground floor is separate and accessed from the rear. However, the garden is private and all yours for your holiday.
In addition to the stunning views, the apartment is conveniently located with just a short walk down the High Street into Falmouth town centre with its fine choice of shops, restaurants, bars, galleries & other attractions. The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and Prince of Wales Pier are both nearby. The latter offers boat trips to picturesque St Mawes, on the Roseland Peninsula, Truro or the Helford River and the regular ferry across to Flushing. The nearest bars and restaurants are less than a 5-minute walk from your front door.
Falmouth is one of Cornwall’s most popular places to visit because of its unique mix of attractions, water sports, beaches, history and places to eat. It is renowned for being the third-largest natural harbour in the world. Falmouth Regatta Week is the town’s major event both on and off the water. Fireworks and sometimes the Red Arrows provides a spectacular backdrop for some high-class racing. Later in the year, the Oyster Festival shows off the river’s heritage to the full. Falmouth also hosts the annual Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. Beach 1? miles.
