Esplanade Crescent is an elegant second floor apartment with sea views and an enviable position on the South Cliff. The apartment is extremely spacious with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a fantastic steam shower cabin.
The bonus with this apartment is there are no restrictions on parking so just outside is free unlimited roadside parking, subject to availability.
The apartment is just around the corner from the Italian Gardens, beautiful landscaped grounds that provide a pleasant walk down to the seafront and the Scarborough Spa. Providing entertainment since the 1880’s, the Spa is a wonderful Grade II listed building and hosts many live shows, dances and conferences.
From the Spa there’s a long marine drive stretching for over 3 miles passing through South Bay and round the headland onto North Bay. It’s nice and flat so great for a leisurely stroll and you can always catch the open top tourist bus back along the seafront.
Scarborough has lots of restaurants and bars as well as an open air theatre which provides entertainment throughout the summer months. There’s also the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is home to most of Alan Aykbourn’s premieres.
The seaside resorts of Filey, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are just a short drive away as well as the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs. Here you will see lots of migrating birds perched on the chalk cliffs.
The city of York is just an hour away by car or there is a direct train from Scarborough right into the centre. This wonderful medieval city is well worth a visit and in 2018 The Times announced it was ‘the best place to live in the UK’, and makes for a wonderful day out.
Esplanade Crescent will make a great base to visit the North York Moors National Park, the Yorkshire Wolds and the east coast. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
