The 2-mile sandy beach on the Jurassic coastline is just a moments’ walk away and it links to the South West Coastal Path and the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail, bringing you to the quaint village of Topsham to the north and the pretty village of Budleigh Salterton to the east. Exmouth offers excellent water sports facilities including sailing, power boating, water skiing, jet skiing, wake and paddle boarding, wind or kite surfing and canoeing. Coastal and estuary cruises operate from the dock opposite the apartment building and charter boats are available for fishing trips. From November to February, the Exe Estuary is home for some 20,000 migratory birds and the red sandstone cliffs of Orcombe Point at the eastern end of the beach are designated the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The beautiful, pebbled heathlands of East Devon with extensive walks, abundant wildlife, rare plants, and splendid panoramic views are only a few minutes’ drive and the South West coast path is nearby.
