Ewden is more than your typical seaside escape, the owner has taken great care in furnishing the property to ensure that you have a stay to remember. Entering the cottage, you step into the open plan kitchen with a dining table in the large bay window. This room has an authentic country cottage feel, complete with an aga, whilst also benefitting from more modern touches such as a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The cosy and inviting living room to adjoin the dining area, here you can unwind together in front of the flames from the open fire. Up on the first floor you have three bedrooms, a double, twin and a single, as well as the main bathroom which has a bath with a shower over. Stairs lead up to the second floor where you have a twin bedroom under the eaves with its own en suite shower. Take a moment to take in the views over the rooftops to the sea from up here, a glorious view throughout the changing seasons.
As well as having a wonderful beach Robin Hood’s Bay is also a walker’s paradise with the Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk starting or finishing in the village, as well as The Cleveland Way passing through. Take a stroll along the cobbled alleyways and narrow streets or enjoy an exhilarating walk on the cliff-top Cleveland Way before heading out into the rugged North York Moors National Park. The National Cycle Network passes nearby and due to the popularity of the Tour de Yorkshire, the area is becoming more and more popular with road and mountain bike enthusiasts. The Dalby Forest has tracks and challenges for all levels from amateur riding to a full-on championship course! Additional dogs may be accepted on request. Pub and restaurant 86 yards.
