The conservation area of Stretton-on-Fosse has an eclectic mix of mellow Cotswold stone buildings - many of which are thatched. Inside the property itself there is electric storage heaters for use all year round and there is also a central heating system connected to the wood burning stove for extra warmth. Fishing is available nearby, and there are many public footpaths around the village, making it an ideal spot for rambling. There is also a local award-winning pub within 1 mile of the cottage.
