Fairview is a reverse level, semi-detached cottage with an entrance on the first floor and a large living/dining room, a cosy wood burner, there is a west-facing conservatory down a couple of steps with sofa and access to a small private garden. The family bedroom is on the first floor provides a level living area for those with a mobility issue. On the ground floor are further bedrooms and a family bathroom.
This is a real farm experience, fresh free-range eggs are available from the owners, and there are a number of walks across the delightful 150 acres. This is a dog-friendly property however please note that it is a working beef and sheep farm, so dogs must be kept under control at all times
6 miles away in the town of Bude in England, visitors can enjoy surfing on its beautiful beaches, exploring the scenic coastal paths, and discovering charming local shops and cafes. Further along the coast is Sandymouth, a large beach ideal for families due to its lovely sand, rock pools and tea rooms. A short drive north over the border into Devon leads to the quaint village of Hartland which has a magnificent church with an amazing painted ceiling and one of the tallest towers in England. Hartland Quay has a hotel and Wreckers Bar as the coast here is littered with wrecks and is a lovely spot for some lunch. Also well worth a visit is the world-famous fishing village of Clovelly. The cobbled, traffic-free, high street is built into a cleft in a 400’ high cliff and tumbles its way down past whitewashed cottages festooned with flowers to the tiny working port. Beach 2 miles.
