Welcome to Fox Cottage, a delightful traditional three-bedroom Cornish cottage. It is situated in the village of Mylor Bridge, which is at the head of Mylor Creek, a perfect retreat for nature lovers, families, and water sports enthusiasts. The hub of the house is the kitchen/dining room with its impressive electric range, guests can sit around the farmhouse table whilst a meal is being prepared planning the next day’s adventures. There is plenty of space to spread out if you want to watch a programme or read a book, the cosy living room with its open fire is ideal if you like to do puzzles the dining area has a lovely large table. In good weather you can choose to sit on the spacious, secluded front lawn or the enclosed patio area at the back, children will love running around, playing hide and seek amongst the established shrubs. There are three separate outside seating areas to choose from, the patio area has the BBQ, there is a table and chairs on the side walkway of the property and then the last set on the lawn.
Mylor Bridge is a wonderful destination for families with young children, offering a variety of activities and attractions that cater to the needs of little ones. The harbour is a hub of activity, children can enjoy watching the boats and yachts, it Is ideal for taking a leisurely walk along the quayside.
Mylor Creek beach is a family-friendly environment where children to play in the sand, paddle in the shallow waters and explore rockpools, older children may like to try the water sports on offer such as sailing and kayaking, there are sometimes family-friendly sessions available for younger ones. If it’s not a beach day, take the children to the well-maintained, playground where they can burn off energy, going on slides and swings as well as the climbing frames, you can watch from one of the picnic benches. Why not explore the nearby woodland walks, explore nature collect leaves and pinecones, and see how many different birds you can spot?
