Garden Cottage is a stone built, detached Victorian cottage in its own enclosed garden situated on Strachur Park. The cottage is approached by 250 yards of rough farm track that leads from the village of Strachur along an avenue of beeches to the old walled garden, which is no longer in use, and to the fields and woods beyond. The cottage is light and airy and all the rooms look out onto the peaceful parkland.
Strachur is just a short walk away, with a post office/shop, petrol station and two local pubs; Dunoon is a half hour drive and has all main amenities, and there are several good restaurants close by and in nearby Inveraray.

Take a stroll on one of the woodland walks with rhododendrons and rare shrubs, as well as nature trails offering an abundance of wild flowers and wildlife. There is also a small river running through the park and a secluded lochan, perfect for a picnic. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
