With the picturesque village of Hawkchurch nearby why not head down to the 16th-century pub before taking a look at the village church with its Romanesque carvings. The National Trust Hill Fort of Lamberts Castle and Coney’s Castle is close by and is an ideal spot for taking in the breathtaking views of the Dorset countryside to Golden Cap and the Jurassic Coastline.
