Beach location
Greenbanks is the last house along the coastal path, between Abbotsbury and West Bexington, and this detached holiday property is situated on Chesil Beach and has wonderful, uninterrupted views of the sea and sky. The house has been completely refurbished, having been a much-loved second home for fifty years. It retains many of its original features including an open fire, whilst offering spacious and comfortable accommodation. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Although its location is very private (access is down a narrow, sometimes bumpy track), it is only a 20-minute walk along the coastal path to West Bexington for the nearest pub serving food. A 15-20 minute walk towards Abbotsbury will take you to the sub-tropical gardens, whilst the local shops are 2½ miles away in Abbotsbury. Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth are each about 10 miles away. The area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, on account of the local flora and fauna. The walks, views and sunsets are fantastic. Shops 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
