The ground floor has a living area with a wood burner for those cosy chillier evenings. There are exposed beams everywhere, creating a lovely romantic atmosphere. The surrounding countryside and rolling meadows are great for leisurely walks and cycling. Nearby in Newport and you will find an array of shops, restaurants, and cafes. A mile or two out of Newport and you will find The Monkey Haven and Robin Hill Country Park. Hours of fun for all the family.
If a day at the beach is what is needed, then you are in luck. Whichever direction you travel you will find beautiful beaches, travel west and you will be spoilt by miles of unspoilt beaches. If you are lucky enough, you may find a fossil. Travel south and you will find the resorts, of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor, with its sandy or pebble beaches, amusement arcades and lots, lots more. The isle of wight is also home to one of its most iconic sights, The Needles.
