Harbour Walk is a delightful property in the heart of Amble, a lovely seaside town. With views at the rear of the property, you can see the town square and harbour. This terraced property with street parking at the front and a small block paved, gated yard is a great base for a small family or couples. In 2021 the living room, dining room and small bedroom were refurbished and all other rooms were refreshed. In 2022 the master bedroom was refurbished and a feature has been made of the existing brick fireplace. A wall mounted Smart TV has also been installed.
Harbour Walk is set close to the town centre and harbour in this popular, family friendly seaside town. The shops, tea rooms and highly acclaimed ice cream parlour are all nearby so you can leave your car behind and stroll to one of the little fish restaurants near the harbour. Amble has a thriving and popular Sunday morning market, popular with locals and visitors. From the harbour you can take a puffin boat trip over to Coquet Island to see the RSPB bird sanctuary.
The pretty village of Warkworth with its hillside castle and selection of cafés and pubs, and a couple of bespoke small shops, is around a 1½ mile walk, but parking is free in this pretty village. A few miles further takes you to Alnwick with the Duke’s castle which was featured in Downton Abbey and used as part of Hogwarts in Harry Potter. The Duchess’ water gardens with the spectacular grand cascade and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant should not be missed.
