Within the town is a championship golf course at Rosemount and with good variety of shops and tea rooms. The world’s tallest hedge at nearby Meiklour is worth a visit and the cities of Perth and Dundee, with the V and A Museum nearby, have much to interest guests. Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are within easy reach, or for the wildlife lover, a visit to Loch of the Lowes may reward you with a glimpse of an otter or osprey. Cycling, fishing and tennis are all available nearby, as well as excellent walking in the Angus Glens. Beach 23¾ miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
