The accommodation is set over two floors within a row of terraced cottages and features a cosy living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a downstairs toilet. The enterance hall benefits from space for boots and coats with a tiled floor. There is ample dining space for four guests. The living area with fantastic river views is furnished with a comfortable and modern sofa and chairs, a table that seats four, and a Smart TV with a view, perfect for a relaxing night in after a busy day enjoying all the area has to offer. Upstairs, two bedrooms await; the large master bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe, TV with Freeview, and a superbly comfortable super kingsize bed along with fabulous river views. The back bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe and double bed. The upstairs shower and toilet room are fully tiled and fitted with a walk-in shower that has an ultra-slim square shower head for an invigorating experience. There is an excellent decking feature in the enclosed private garden, a great space for enjoying an al fresco meal or a glass of wine in the sunshine, with comfortable seating for all guests, due to the nature of the path and decking the property may not be suitable for the less mobile.
The town centre is within a 3-minute walk, with a supermarket, cafés, public houses, takeaways, chemist, greengrocer, and hardware store, all on the main street. Cornish pasties are also readily available during the day! A larger supermarket is within a mile of the cottage. It is the perfect base for exploring southeast Cornwall and the Rame Peninsular with its stunning coastline, superb sandy beaches, and secluded coastal villages and towns. Locally, Kingsand Cawsand and Rame Head are well worth a visit. The beautiful coastal town of Looe, The Eden Project, Bodmin Moor, with the world-famous Jamaica Inn, St Austell, and Charlestown are all within easy driving distance. Should you wish to venture further the lovely Devon coastline and wild Dartmoor make an excellent day out. There are excellent travel links, including regular bus services to the thriving and historical naval city of Plymouth, with its many attractions, including the National Marine Aquarium with the largest seawater tank in the UK, waterfront lido, theatres, cinemas, shopping malls, and restaurants.
