In a delightful rural setting close to Anglesey’s west coast, Hen Dy Goits is bursting with charm, character and history. Sitting in the grounds of the owner’s home, it was once the coach house to the islands main post office from where the post was distributed across the whole of Anglesey. The cottage has been skilfully converted, and boasts a beautiful handcrafted Welsh oak staircase and a bespoke pitch pine kitchen along with a lovely enclosed garden. Perfect for year round breaks, with its cosy multi-fuel burner and lovely sunny garden, Hen Dy Goits is also within easy reach of award-winning and surfing beaches, as well as a host of visitor attractions including a sea zoo, Beaumaris castle, Plas Newydd (National Trust), Trach Mon racing circuit and lovely boat rides to spot puffins or fish. Anglesey is a paradise for walkers and cyclists with miles of peaceful country lanes to explore and its whole 125 mile coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Aberffraw’s unspoilt, sandy beach and estuary, the Newborough Warren Nature Reserve and the romantic Llanddwyn beach are all close by. Day trips to Ireland are easily accessible from the port of Holyhead and a myriad of outdoor pursuits and stunning mountain scenery are just a half hours drive away in the Snowdonia National Park. Beach 2 miles. Shop ½ mile, restaurant 5 miles.
