There are lots of things to entertain the whole family. Harbourside Holiday Apartments are ideally situated on Paignton Harbour, a charming and understated fishing haven and hive of activity where you will find a range of cafés and fish and chip takeaways. It is also a short stroll to Roundham Head which provides panoramic clifftop views stretching towards Berry Head in Brixham and Thatcher Rock in Torquay. Roundham Gardens is a pretty parkland area with a memorial Spitfire Garden and plenty of seating to enjoy the breathtaking sights. If you enjoy coastal walks, there are excellent footpaths and pavements that lead to Rock Walk, a cliffside display of semi-tropical plants and night-time illuminations not to be missed.
Harbourside Holiday Apartments are close to the 22 miles of stunning coastline which forms part of the famous South West Coastal Path. Goodrington Beach, 1 mile, is a popular spot for dog walkers, water sport enthusiasts and families who enjoy spending time at nearby Splashdown Quaywest, a thrilling waterpark attraction.
The apartments offer guests the ideal home from home atmosphere. They are fully furnished, light and spacious, and can accommodate up to six guests between both apartments. Herons Haven offers uninterrupted views over the harbour from the open plan living space. Self-catering accommodation offers you the freedom to come and go as you please, without being restricted. You will also find plenty of child-friendly activities including a free outdoor play park, crazy golf, donkey rides, a visiting circus and touring fairs, Paignton Pier and amusement arcades, all within easy reach. Vue Cinema, a few minutes’ walk, is a multiplex cinema featuring the latest films for all ages, and provides great value all weather day and night time entertainment. Torbay Road, a short walk, is known locally as the Golden Mile with a wide selection of shops selling holiday souvenirs and beach inflatables as well as family-run restaurants, cafés and popular bars for daytime snacks, evening meals or night-time cocktails. The English Riviera has great transport links, and if you are travelling by train or coach, Paignton railway and bus stations are close by. The charming district of Babbacombe, 5 miles, has a model village, cliff railway and theatre. Also worth a visit is the beautiful Cockington Village and Country Park.
