High Threave Cottage is a delightful country cottage set quietly on a working farm with lovely views out over the Galloway countryside. High Threave Cottage is spacious with lovely bright rooms with open views from every room in the house. All on the ground floor, there is a large sitting room with comfortable sofas, two good sized bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and two bathrooms it is ideal for couples or a family alike.
Outside at High Threave Cottage is a treat where you can sit on the private decking looking out over the farm enjoying watching the animals and wildlife. Whilst in a lovely rural location High Threave Cottage is only ten minutes from Newton Stewart, a picturesque little market town known as “The Gateway to the Galloway Hills” where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and pubs. Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, is also only a short, 10 minute car journey away and for those who want to travel further afield, we are close to Cairnryan Port, which regularly runs ferries and/or day trips to Northern Ireland. Surrounded by miles of quiet country lanes, High Threave Cottage is the ideal location for walkers and cyclists and is close to Kirroughtree and the renowned 7Stanes mountain bike trails for the more adventurous.
