The village of Witheridge is 3 minutes’ drive away with a 7-day convenience store/post office, pub, cafe and a newsagent. A pizza van serves excellent wood-fired pizzas in the village each Wednesday and a fish and chip van visits on Fridays. The local area is well served with pubs and restaurants. Chulmleigh, 10 minutes’ away, is a charming town with two pubs, a lovely restaurant, an Indian restaurant/takeaway, a convenience store, newsagent/post office, bakery and a traditional butcher.
