In the opposite direction, just 12 miles away, you will find the ancient market town of Helston home of the Furry Dance and between there and Stithians you will find Falmouth, home to the deepest harbour, the maritime museum, local shops, bars café, and restaurants as well as Gyllygvase and Maenporth Beach.
