The Dairy is a restored two-bedroom out-building conversion an early medieval farmstead set in 4 acres of gardens, pastures, and woodlands. The most versatile property as you separate the beds for sleeping 4. Access is via a deep step up into the property and you arrive into the lounge.
The Nook (UK36881) and The Cottage (UK36885) are both restored one bedroom ground floor apartments. The Stable (UK36897) is a restored two-bedroom out-building conversion which is on two levels, and The Hayloft is a three-bedroom first floor apartment with balcony. Weavers (UK36886) is a restored two-bedroom first floor apartment which has access via a short external staircase to the entrance. The Barn (UK36902) is a three-bedroom cottage with its own garden. A fantastic base to explore Cornwall there really is something for everyone, from stunning beaches and coves to water sport activities, gardens and beautiful walks. Two miles away is Kennal vale a Nature Reserve. Once the home of the Kennal vale gunpowder factory, now it is a haven for wildlife species and native plants and trees.
Stihians Lake is a 5-mile circular walk popular with water sports enthusiasts due to its unique windy conditions. Expert tuition and equipment available for anglers to enjoy the well-stocked lake full of trout. After a busy day, relax and enjoy refreshments at the café.
The beautiful city of Truro is a must to visit stocked with an abundance of cafés, bars, and restaurants it is home to the magnificent Truro Cathedral. Wander down the cobbled streets and visit the local retailers.
12 miles in the opposite direction you will find the ancient market town of Helston home of the Furry Dance and between there and Stithians is Falmouth home to the deepest harbour. Here is the maritime museum, local shops, bars café and restaurants as well as Gyllygvase and Maenporth Beach.
After a jam-packed day return home to the quiet tranquillity of Higher Trewithen. There is a laundry room, access to rare breed farm animals, and yoga classes on site.
