You may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a red squirrels as they scurry through the trees. The local village shop is nearby and a short drive will take you in to the towns of Shanklin and Sandown where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Sandy beaches can be also be found in Sandown and Shanklin. If you don’t want to take your car there is a local bus service and the bus stop is just outside Hill Cottage. Beach 3 miles.
