Honeysuckle Cottage is located close to the centre of the historic coastal town of Watchet. Ideal for couples or a young family, the cottage is presented to a very comfortable standard. There is an open plan living/dining area, so plenty of space for all, and a small enclosed courtyard is perfect for sitting out on a balmy summer’s evening. The semi-detached cottage is with easy walking distance of Watchet’s centre where you will find the harbour, numerous shops and curios, restaurants and pubs serving food. There is also a railway station in Watchet which is part of the West Somerset Steam Railway line.
There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland in Exmoor National Park and many other places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton are famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (National Trust), Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead, there is the promenade to enjoy a good stroll with an ice cream as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities. The West Somerset Railway is worth a visit for those with an interest in steam engines. Dunster Castle (National Trust) and village, with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and water mill will make for an interesting day out, as does Porlock Weir. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor for all to enjoy. Beach 400 yards. Shop 400 yards, pub 250 yards and restaurant 200 yards.
