The ever-popular town of Keswick, renowned for its spectacular setting, is only 12 miles away where you can stroll along the banks of the River Derwent or enjoy a meander through the town centre with its many little niche shops. No visit to the Lake District National Park however is complete without walking, whether it be forest walks, a stunning lakeside meander or rugged mountainous climbing. Or perhaps you would prefer a visit to The Lakes Distillery offering tasting tours with locally produced gin, whisky and vodka. Beach 9 miles.
