The living area boasts a comfortable corner sofa, which converts to a double sofa bed, and a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Patio doors open onto a private decked area, allowing natural light to flood the space. The bedroom is a serene haven with a plush double bed offering stunning views over the surrounding fields. It also features overhead cupboards, a wardrobe and a vanity table, ensuring ample storage and convenience. The bathroom offers a full sized bath with overhead shower. Outside, the private decked area with garden furniture is perfect for al fresco dining. Guests are welcome to explore the expansive garden, a bird watcher’s paradise, and includes an open pond, adding to its natural charm.
Rudyard itself is a delightful village known for its stunning lake, which provides a serene backdrop for leisurely walks, picnics, boating, fishing, horseback riding and model steam train rides and cafe. Nearby, the historic market town of Leek offers a variety of attractions and activities, including charming shops, cafes, and traditional pubs. Ivy Lodge is a perfect gateway to the breath-taking Peak District National Park, where endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, and exploring await. A short drive away is the famous attraction of Alton Towers theme park, Splash Landings water park and Peak Wildlife Park. Further afield you can explore the quaint towns of Castleton, famous for its underground caves/caverns and castle, Bakewell, for the renowned Bakewell Tart or visit the spa town of Buxton, England’s highest market town.
