Once the home of the farm’s shire horses, Jones’ Stable is a cosy stone cottage adjoining the farmhouse. The light airy sitting room and dining area leads into a well equipped kitchen, and with a double bedroom, this holiday cottage is ideal for solo travellers or couple getaways.
Bright and spacious, Jones’ Stable will welcome you straight away. The open plan living room and dining area overlooks the original stone barns and farm yard. An electric wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere on cold winter nights. Look out for the photograph showing Farmer Jones ploughing the fields with his shire horses in days gone by. The bedroom is tranquil and inviting complete with Welsh quilts to snuggle under. The bathroom is equipped with a modern shower cubicle and heated towel rail. To the rear of the cottage is a well-equipped galley style kitchen with an additional side access to the parking area. This spacious area off the kitchen is ideal for storing muddy boots and for tired dogs to rest up after a long day exploring this idyllic spot. To the front of the cottage is a large enclosed garden, an ideal spot for al fresco dining or relaxing on a summer evening.
The central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Gower’s glorious beaches and countryside. Journey out along some of Wales’ most iconic cliff walks with breathtaking views. The golden sands of Three Cliffs Bay and rugged Pennard Cliffs are only a short drive from Jones’ Granary.
Jones’ stable can be booked together with Jones’ Granary (QC1450) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
