Beyond these quirky residences, you will find many sites and points of interest to enjoy. Within walking distance is Gloucester Cathedral, where you can walk in the footsteps of the wizards, as the Filming of ‘Harry Potter’ took place here. Gloucester Docks and Sharpness Canal is home to impressive Victorian architecture. Recently restored to its former glory and upgraded to include a gym, bars, restaurant, cinema, and retail outlet centre. A fab day out is Gloucester Rugby, home of The Cherry and Whites. The stadium is within walking distance and boasts a great atmosphere. Hop in the car for Regency glamour as Cheltenham Spa is nearby. Snazzy boutiques, fabulous restaurants, bars, theatre and of course the world-famous Cheltenham racecourse with its steeple chase meets, events and concerts. The wider Cotswolds are all within easy reach too, Bibury, Bouton-On-The-Water, Stow-On-The-Wold, Chipping Campden and Cirencester outdoor beach area that’s open in the summer. Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean are well worth a visit too.
