Welcome to The Highlander, a charming holiday lodge nestled in the serene surroundings of Three Lochs Holiday Park near Kirkcowan, Dumfries and Galloway. Designed with relaxation and comfort in mind, this spacious lodge offers the perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends alike.
Inside, you’ll find an airy, open-plan living area that seamlessly combines lounge, dining, and kitchen spaces, ideal for socialising and unwinding. Patio doors open onto a large enclosed deck, where you can enjoy picturesque park views. For added convenience and privacy, The Highlander features a king-size bedroom with an en-suite toilet, a cosy twin bedroom, a family bathroom, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Step outside onto the private rear deck and indulge in the lodge’s hot tub, the perfect spot for a relaxing soak under the magnificent, dark, star-filled skies. The Three Lochs Holiday Park provides plenty of family-friendly amenities payable on-site, including fishing lakes, a watersport centre, a swimming pool, pony trekking, nature trails, and an adventure playground, all set against the tranquil backdrop of the Scottish countryside. Facilities from November to March are limited as it’s all about the peace and tranquillity of this lovely Park.
For nature enthusiasts, Three Lochs has been awarded both the coveted AA Award for Environmental Excellence and the David Bellamy Conservation Award, every year since 2000 and is a haven for wildlife. Venture further afield, and you’ll find a wealth of activities in the Dumfries and Galloway region. Take a scenic drive to Galloway Forest Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and status as one of Europe’s first Dark Sky Parks. History buffs can explore ancient ruins like Glenluce Abbey or visit the charming coastal villages of Portpatrick and Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town.
