Keed’s Cottage is named after an old Sussex apple variety and overlooks an orchard with views of the countryside. It is a two bedroom cottage with a charming exterior and landscaped garden which is shared with Keed’s Barn (UK43130) which is situated directly opposite the cottage and sleeps two guests.
Inside the cottage is warm and inviting, with a double-sided wood burner, open plan living space with a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen and bar area. Up a short flight of stairs, the bedrooms are a peaceful retreat with comfortable beds and are decorated to a high standard. In the master bedroom is a kingsize bed, while in the second bedroom are two single beds, these are zip and link and upon request can be made up as a kingsize bed. The family bathroom is modern and clean with a bath, separate shower, and double basin vanity unit.
This two-bedroom cottage has been finished with exceptional fixtures and fittings and is perfectly designed. The cottage has a patio and garden area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. There is one electric car charging point for an electric vehicle, (please contact the owner for the tariff) log store and barbecue.
Keed’s Cottage is set within the South Downs National Park and has some beautiful footpaths within a short walk from the front door. It’s a great location for visiting all that West Sussex offers, the Pulborough Wildbrooks RSPB nature reserve is an easy drive, hire kayaks from Fluid Adventures or Pulborough’s Paddles and enjoy some time exploring the river Arun. Arundel Castle is less than 15 miles away, further south lies the city of Chichester. West Wittering Beach, famous for long stretches of soft sand is accessible by car, as are other Sussex seaside destinations. Visit Parham House in Storrington, one of the country’s finest Elizabethan houses, or stylish Petworth with its cafés and shops, historic House and Deer Park is a 20 minute drive. Goodwood House, Racecourse and Motor Circuit are 30 minutes away by car. Pulborough has a train station, London Victoria is reached in 1hour 20 minutes. Brighton 1 hour.
