Built along the River Derwent and just 4 miles from the property, Matlock Bath is one of the most scenic villages which inspired poet laureate Sir John Betjeman to write a poem by the same name. Matlock Bath’s attractions include an aquarium, Gulliver’s Kingdom theme park, and most famously, the Heights of Abraham with its cable cars, caverns, and fantastic views.
The magnificent Chatsworth House and the stunning Haddon Hall are both 15 minutes’ drive away.
