It has a pub, as well as a small village shop and a tea room. There are some wonderful rural pubs serving hearty home cooked meals in the surrounding villages, the perfect reward after a hike or cycle.

The coastline from Saltburn-by-the-Sea to Filey is a place of rugged beauty, with many isolated fishing villages such as Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay all just a short drive away.
