You will enter the open plan living, dining and kitchen space, giving this home a social yet cosy atmosphere, the kitchen has been finished to a high quality, there is a dining area with a good-sized wood burner to warm yourself after your busy day exploring, the living area has comfortable seating and TV. Upstairs is a kingsize bedroom, a double bedroom and a shower room with walk-in shower, there is plenty of character in this cottage with the original exposed beams and curved walls. Outside there is a small garden space with a bistro table set where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening before heading into town for a delicious meal at the many restaurants and pubs available.
Lindwood is located on the rising hill from Bakewell’s town centre, giving you a perfect position to stroll into town to explore all Bakewell has to offer, from its tea rooms and famous pudding shops to independent and high street shops, you can also walk to Chatsworth House from here and explore its history. There are great neighbouring towns such as Matlock and Buxton, both offering their own individual qualities, and both make for a great day out.
