Linnet Cottage provides a perfect home away from home, sleeping up to six guests and an additional child, this property is a great place to stay for a large family. Upon entering, you will find the property is of a good size and has fantastic views over the lake. The living space is a sociable open plan design, and complete with a wood burner for cosy winter evenings and 60” Smart TV, sliding doors to access decking and downstairs toilet. Outside the property really comes into its own, with a large decking on the ground floor offering picturesque views, seating, and gas BBQ for al fresco dining. On the first floor are three bedrooms one with en-suite, a further bedroom with a child’s single bed with fantastic views, and a family bathroom. You can access the first-floor deck through the double and single rooms. The spacious second floor features a kingsize bed with en-suite.
lLnnet Cottage is set within Clearwater, part of the Lower Mill Estate private nature reserve. Lower Mill Estate is made up of seven lakes, rivers, meadows and woodland. It is built around a large diverse nature reserve supporting a range of wonderful habitats and wildlife. The nature reserve and surrounding lakes offer a variety of water sports from open water swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing to fishing in tranquil settings. As guests of Linnet Cottage you will also benefit from on-site facilities including an enclosed children’s play area, tennis courts and membership to ArtSpa (treatments are at cost) and use of the gym and indoor and outdoor ’eco’ swimming pool. There is an on-site shop that provides you with day-to-day essentials and extra logs. You will also have access to the Lower Mill Estate’s private restaurant, The Ballihoo. Walking opportunities abound and the Thames footpath runs through the estate; there are also many walking/cycling routes close by. Mill Village is in the beautiful Cotswold Village of Somerford Keynes where there is plenty to see and do out of the Lower Mill Estate. Cotswolds Country Park and Beach is within walking distance; the man-made beach has a variety of water sports activities, climbing activities and BBQ hire. There are also numerous lakes close by where you can take part in water sport activities. There are plenty of country pubs, cafés and restaurants close by and the beautiful market town of Cirencester is a close drive away. For any activities it is advised to book in advance. Shop and restaurant on-site.
