Enjoying a quiet position in the sought-after village of Pentney, in a peaceful part of the Nar valley, Little Abbey Farm Retreats offer a luxury glamping experience in handmade bespoke, Lapland style lodges. Set within a 100 acre farm, there is a picturesque pond on site along with rustic walk trails.
Boasting lovely, high quality beds, a shower cubicle, sitting and a kitchenette area, each of the two lodges have their own hot tubs, making this the perfect relaxing getaway. With little to no light pollution you will find yourself soaking in you tub under a blanket of twinkling stars and the owners have thoughtfully provided windows in the eaves of the lodges so that you can continue your star gazing from the privacy of the king size bed.
This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape the stresses of everyday life, to read that book you meant to read or to relax in front of the television. It is a little slice of rural heaven and you are sure to spot some wildlife during you stay too. And if you would like to holiday with another couple then Honey Been Retreat (ref UK36830) and Dragonfly Retreat (ref UK36831) can be booked together to provide accommodation for four guests and if you do that, you can choose whether to use your hot tubs privately, or soak together, as each hot tub can comfortably accommodate four adults. You will definitely find it had to tear yourself away from the idyll you will find here but if you do you will find a wealth of things to see, do and explore in the area.
You can be in the heart of this beautiful coastline in under half an hour. Here you will find a string of pretty seaside towns and villages waiting to be discovered. You will see so many habitats including wide sandy beaches, rolling sand dunes, salt and clay marshes and picturesque quays all waiting for you to come and take that perfect photograph. Then head to the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, or visit the Sandringham, Houghton or Holkham Estates. Hang out with nature at RSPB Snettisham, considered by many to be one of the best bird-watching sites in the area, or visit Thetford Forest with High Lodge and Go Ape. You can even visit the medieval city of Norwich from here too and you route brings you straight in to a park and ride, making getting to know this historical city stress-free.
The whole area is packed with great places to eat, many of which serve local produce and after all that sightseeing, you are sure to have worked up quite an appetite! Then it is back to Little Abbey Farm Retreats, for a lovely soak in the hot tub and the certainty of a great night’s sleep. Just lovely!
