Little Owl is located within a nature reserve so along with herons, red kites and deer you will find an abundance of mini beasts. A barn owl is often seen sitting on a branch beside the gravel driveway. RSPB North Warren is within walking distance, a great place for bird spotting and an ideal base to explore the Suffolk Coast Area of Natural Beauty and a wonderful place to star gaze. Walk or cycle direct to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh through RSPB North Warren. Dunwich, Minsmere, Southwold, Walberswick and Snape a short drive away. Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past, however, the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings.
