This pretty little detached cottage, within the owner’s grounds, is set in six acres of peaceful Cornish countryside, well located for many different activities including; surfing, walking, cycling and sightseeing.
The cosy wood burner is perfect to curl up beside on a chilly evening, and there is also a sunny patio to the front of the cottage, where you can enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day exploring.
There are many country and coastal walks close by, and plenty of dog friendly beaches. The cottage is just 6 miles from the golden sands of Widemouth Bay, popular with surfers, and 9 miles from Bude with its historic castle, vibrant town centre and vast array of good restaurants and bars, along with three more glorious sandy beaches and a stunning coastal path. The fishing villages of Tintagel, Rock and Padstow are close by, and the wild beauty of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance, as well as the famous Eden Project. Port Isaac, made famous in the TV series ’Doc Martin’, is worth a visit, as is Boscastle. Golf, horse riding, surfing, bowling, indoor ‘Splash’ pool, and mountain boarding are all on offer close by, and the internationally acclaimed annual Bude Jazz Festival is not to be missed.
