Lochview Barn is a charming detached cottage, situated on a west facing hillside overlooking Loch Lubnaig within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The cottage dates back to the 1600’s and was once a working barn for Runacraig Farm. This self catering cottage is well equipped with Visit Scotland 4 star grading. Lochview has its own garden patio area with ample car parking space. From the patio there are views of Loch Lubnaig and the surrounding mountains. A short walk over the road and through a meadow (3 acres) gives access to the loch side for fishing (permit required) or just relaxing. You can launch a boat or canoe locally into the loch. The property is only two miles from the village of Strathyre, which has a shop/post office and there are a number of good places to eat and drink.
