Tucked away in the beautiful village of Bryncrug, Maldwyn is a great holiday home for those hoping to explore the stunning Snowdonia National Park and nearby attractions. Ideally suited for a family or up to six guests, it is the perfect spot to unwind and explore this part of mid Wales. Snowdonia National Park is the region known for its sprawling open lands and mountainous landscape; it is a favourite amongst nature lovers. The ground floor areas, comprise of a cosy living room with brick chimney breast and cosy seating for everyone. A spacious dining room with a nice conservatory to appreciate the views with a morning coffee or somewhere for everyone to congregate in the evening. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the modern appliances for your stay, and conveniently leading out into the utility and garden areas. There is a ground floor double bedroom, and family bathroom opposite. Upstairs there are two adjoining bedrooms, a double room, as you approach the top of the stairs, and the other offering two full sized twin beds. There’s adequate space for everyone to get together and enjoy this lovely location. To the back of the property is an enclosed garden and patio with garden furniture to indulge in a meal or some star gazing. There is enough parking for up to three cars, conveniently to the right of the house, the approach to the driveway is shared with the neighbours next-door but there is plenty of space for everyone to come in and out.
Maldwyn is located approximately 2-miles from Tywyn. Tywyn has lots of amenities including a leisure centre, restaurants, pubs, independent shops, a great cinema and most importantly a beautiful sandy beach, with views towards Bardsey Island and The Llyn Peninsula. When the tide is out you can walk all the way to Aberdovey. Being only 6 miles from the lovely harbour village of Aberdovey, there is so much on offer there too. Aberdovey is a colourful, harbour resort with a lovely sandy beach and a golf club. It is well-known for its windsurfing, paddle boarding and sailing centre. Fishing trips can be arranged all year round.
Off the beaten track are dozens of public footpaths and spectacular mountain walks in both Tywyn and Aberdovey. The area is a very popular spot during the summer and winter months. For even more outdoor adventure Maldwyn is only 20 minutes’ drive from Cader Idris if you wanted to hike the highest mountain in southern Snowdonia. There’s Bird Rock close by, Dolgoch Falls, and the Mawddach all very close. With countless outdoor pursuits easily accessible locally. Maldwyn is the perfect getaway for your next trip.
