Ideally situated in the quiet unspoilt fishing hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry, only 50 yards from the shingle beach and 400 yards from popular country pub serving good food. The village itself boasts an art gallery, cafe, sailing club, fishing from the beach and all are within walking distance. Situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, the cottage is well placed for touring Suffolk including the picturesque towns of Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick, Orford and Harwich. Only half an hours drive from Snape, famous for its all year round concerts. Further inland are Framlingham, a quaint old town with a cobbled market square, tea shops, good eating houses and a castle. For the children, a day out and a picnic at Easton Farm Park, is a must. Set in a lovely original farm setting with antique machinery, farm animals, arts and crafts, childrens play area, a restaurant and a picnic area set alongside a river. Slightly further afield are the famous small towns of Long Melford, a haven for antique hunters, and famous for Kentwell and Long Melford Halls. The medieval old wood town of Lavenham is also worth a visit as is Constable Country and the Dedham Vale.
