As soon as you enter Hunters Lodge you are greeted with character and charm throughout, the large open plan kitchen, dining and living area enjoys original wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, and focal wood burner perfect to enjoy an evening In front of the fire with a good movie, the spacious kitchen offers everything you need to cook your evening meals and has a breakfast bar for an early morning coffee. Both bedrooms on the ground floor are finished to a high standard with quality furniture and a space saver spiral staircase leads up to a galleried children’s bedroom on the first floor. On an evening enjoy dining al fresco in the enclosed garden and take in that coastal air.
A trip to the area is not complete without a trip to Pembroke castle, famous as the birthplace of King Henry VII where you can visit and take a step back in time, discover the rich history this area has to offer, there is a host of lovely eateries specialising in Pembrokeshire produce and some locally brewed ales to sample, along with gift shops and cafés. The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses. It has a variety of boutique gift shops, traditional pubs, and highly acclaimed restaurants. Take a boat trip to the historic island of Caldey, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years. For keen walkers the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park offers 186 miles of beautiful walks and is close by and Folly Farm Zoo, Heatherton World of Adventure and Oakwood Wales largest theme park are all within a 30 minutes’ drive.
