Mill Cottage is a lovely traditional Welsh cottage set on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Just a stone’s throw from pubs and shops in Llangadog village. Being a pet friendly holiday home, this location is ideal for you and your furry friend! There’s an open common at the end of the lane and a nearby river for you to explore. The accommodation itself is traditional and cosy throughout.
The living room is a warm and inviting place to relax and enjoy a cost evening in, the wood burner fuels the central heating, and there are electric heaters throughout the property as well. There’s a compact but well-equipped kitchen with access to a small outside courtyard. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a bath with shower over, toilet and wash hand basin. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double bedroom with a bedside table, chest of drawers and a hanging rail, the second bedroom is a comfortable single. Across the way is your own garden space to enjoy. Set up with a decked seating area and firepit, you can make the most of the good weather and enjoy relaxing outside. There’s also a lockable shed that houses the wood supply for Mill Cottage and can be used to store bicycles or other outdoor kit. Just in front of the shed is the parking spot for this property – space for one car here. There is additional on road parking available at the end of the lane on the common, if required.
After a few days relaxing and taking in the gorgeous Welsh countryside you may want to explore more of South Wales. Head south for some beautiful beaches and coastal towns within an hour drive, or head east into the Brecon Beacons National Park for some fantastic walks, hikes, and cycle routes – there’s mountains, rivers, waterfalls galore!
